We started experimenting with mixed compositions in early 2024. Combining fresh blooms with preserved elements creates arrangements that transform gradually rather than just wilting. Clients mention this a lot — they appreciate watching the piece evolve.
The technical challenge is matching moisture levels and stem treatments. But when it works, you get something that stays interesting for weeks instead of days.
